Unjo AB has been appointed Electronics Company Of The Year 2013 in Western Sweden by the Electronics Industry Association in Gothenburg – EIG.
The award is given by EIG to strengthen electronics companies’ important role in a smart and sustainable community development. The board of EIG presented Unjo and its founders and principal shareholders Undine Jänes and Jonas Hemming as this year’s winner with the following statement:
“The company has a global market for its products and has enjoyed strong economic growth for several years. Unjo has been named Gazelle-company two years in a row by Swedish newspaper Dagens Industri.
The company focuses entirely on customized solutions for motor control and has the unique ability to optimize functionality and performance based on each customer’s specific requirements.
A solution may consist of a circuit board with only motor control, but often other related functionality such as sensors, communication and HMI is integrated. The delivery can also include e.g. motor and enclosure – all according to the customer’s needs and requirements.
This year’s winners are good role models and dedicated entrepreneurs who are passionate about their business.”
Undine Jänes , CEO of Unjo : We are happy and proud to receive this award and see it as an acknowledgment by the industry that our offer to the customers is timely and attractive.
